"Monday everything was kind of business as usual, other than the beach accesses getting wiped out, but all of the restaurants have been open, it's been great." That's how one fall-break visitor in Rosemary Beach described the days after Hurricane Isaias to WJHG.
The quote holds up. The storm hit the shoreline and left the town square's calendar alone. As of mid-October, all three anchor dates of Rosemary Beach's holiday season were still posted on their organizers' own pages. Each one stops admitting people on a different schedule, and in every case that cutoff comes before the event itself. Uncorked comes first on November 14, the Thanksgiving races follow on November 26, and the Holiday Tour of Homes closes the season on December 5. One of the three has already stopped selling.
Isaias arrived in the middle of fall break. Walton County issued a mandatory evacuation order, and The Pearl Hotel closed that Thursday. General manager Kyle Davis told WJHG the hotel had minimal damage and began welcoming guests back as early as Sunday morning.
The beach took longer to recover. In the county's beach access update dated October 15 at 11 a.m., and in The Pearl's own status page from October 16, the picture near Rosemary Beach looked like this:
The longer-term repair work is still in the planning stage. Walton County Director of Beach Operations Josh Ervin told WJHG that the county had met with FEMA about possible emergency dune repairs and expected to bring the proposal to county commissioners through its coastal engineer, Taylor Engineering. He said the design for a federally funded renourishment project would likely be finished "in October of next year."
Walkover status is changing week to week, so check a walkover the morning you plan to use it. The holiday events are a different story. Their dates are fixed, and what decides whether you get in is how far ahead you act.
Rosemary Beach Uncorked is the first big date of the season and already the hardest to get into. The 15th annual event runs Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m., with tastings from Rosemary Beach restaurants and live music. The official Rosemary Beach Uncorked site says the event is sold out and offers only a wait list in case previously purchased tickets come back.
The wait list matters more this year because of a new ticket tier. The VIP Experience adds:
The VIP extra hour also changes the end time. If you're working out when Town Hall Green clears out that Saturday, plan around 5 p.m. instead of the 4 p.m. general close. If you missed tickets, the wait list form on the event site is the only way in.
Twelve days after Uncorked, Thanksgiving morning starts on 30A. The 15th Annual 30A 10K Thanksgiving Day Races run Thursday, November 26, 2026, and start and finish along Scenic Highway 30A in Rosemary Beach. As of mid-October, registration on the official race site was still open.
According to 30A.com's fall events guide, the morning runs on a schedule that affects every household near the course:
There is no race-day registration. A relative who arrives Wednesday night wanting to run with you can't sign up at the start line. Registration has to be done before Thanksgiving morning, so for a houseful of guests it belongs on the to-do list alongside the grocery run.
Registered runners get a commemorative shirt and a custom finisher medal. After the races there's an awards ceremony, a DJ, local vendors, breakfast, and a complimentary mimosa and Bloody Mary bar for adults. The series has donated more than $1 million to nonprofits over its history. This year's registration supports four local charity partners: Children's Volunteer Health Network, Children in Crisis, Habitat for Humanity of Walton County and Bailey Brigade.
The 5K's 9:30 start time also tells you how the morning will go. With the 10K and fun run going out early and the 5K going out two hours later, race traffic on the 30A course and around the finish area will run well into mid-morning. If you have Thanksgiving errands, plan them around that window.
The season ends with the Rosemary Beach Foundation's Holiday Tour of Homes on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Foundation's event page describes a self-guided walking tour of homes decorated for the holidays, starting from 78 N Barrett Square.
The Eventbrite ticket page for this 8th annual tour lists its terms:
Taken together, these terms favor deciding early. Limited space and the 550-cup cap reward early buyers. The no-refund rule means you should settle your plans first, including who in a visiting group is 5 or older, because every one of them needs a ticket.
The proceeds stay in South Walton. This year's charitable partners are Alaqua Animal Refuge, a no-kill shelter in Freeport, and Caring & Sharing of South Walton, which the event page says serves an average of 850 local families each month through financial assistance, food, counseling and case management.
Sorted by event date, the season looks like three Saturdays and a holiday. Sorted by the date each one stops taking people, the order is different, and this is the version to keep on the fridge:
On ordinary weeknights between these dates, The Pearl has a new name in its kitchen. SoWal reported that Jordan Economy is now executive chef at Havana Beach Bar & Grill. He has added a rooftop-lounge menu and rotating Chef's Table specials, and seasonal hours apply as the year winds down.
