Inlet Beach Has Two Lawns for Live Music This Fall, and They Keep Different Clocks

October 15, 2026

The east end of 30A has two outdoor music lawns this fall, and they run on different schedules. The Pavilion at Watersound Town Center follows a printed monthly pattern. Its shows start at 6 p.m. and end by 8, and the dates are set through December. 30Avenue's concerts on the green run later, from 7 to 10 p.m., and this October's listed dates are a Thursday, a Tuesday and a Monday. You can put the first one on your calendar months ahead. The second one you check each week.

Once you know that difference, you can plan a fall evening on the Inlet Beach side of 98 by looking at the date.

The Pavilion Keeps a Printed Card

Watersound Town Center sits at 85 Origins Main St., at the entrance to the Watersound Origins community just north of Highway 98. Its covered Pavilion has two recurring free series this fall, and each one sticks to the same slot every month.

The First Friday Fall Concert Series is presented by the Cultural Arts Alliance, Russell Carter Artist Management and the St. Joe Community Foundation. SoWal describes it as an extension of the summer showcases. Music runs from 6 to 8 p.m. It is free, family-friendly and open to the public, and guests bring their own chairs and blankets.

Kids' Night Out uses the same 6-to-8 window on a Tuesday each month, with games, creative activities and music for children. The event is free, and SoWal's listing says activities change from month to month.

Here is what remains on the Pavilion's fall card as of mid-October:

  1. Tuesday, October 20. Kids' Night Out, 6 to 8 p.m.
  2. Friday, November 6. First Friday concert with Webb Wilder, 6 to 8 p.m., with Jessica Willis Fisher opening.
  3. Tuesday, November 17. Kids' Night Out, 6 to 8 p.m.
  4. Friday, December 4. First Friday concert with Michelle Malone. The Art Bazaar runs from 4 to 8 p.m., and the music runs from 6 to 8.
  5. Tuesday, December 15. Kids' Night Out, 6 to 8 p.m.

The September 4 show with The Pink Stones and the October 2 show with The Mammals and an Art Bazaar have already happened. Band names vary a little between listings, so the list above gives the headliners as SoWal printed them.

The concert dates are fixed because of who books them. Every fall act is connected to the 30A Songwriters Festival, the Cultural Arts Alliance's largest fundraiser. The festival's 18th edition runs January 15 to 18, 2027. A nonprofit using four Fridays to preview its biggest weekend will set those Fridays early and keep them. The series is basically the festival's lead-up, held at an open-air shopping center.

30Avenue Changes Week to Week

Across the highway, 30Avenue sits at 12805 US-98 East, where Highway 98 meets Scenic Highway 30A. Its concert series takes over the green from 7 to 10 p.m. Listings encourage guests to bring a blanket or low-back lawn chairs, and they mention generous parking.

SoWal's October listings put 30Avenue concerts on Thursday, October 8, Tuesday, October 13, and Monday, October 19. That makes three weeks and three different weeknights. None of the listings name a performer. Each one sends readers to the 30Avenue calendar for the lineup.

30Avenue's one-off events work the same way. Oktoberfest on September 26 ran from 4 to 7 p.m. and offered live music, Bavarian food and beer, and contests. It was a single Saturday afternoon, not part of a monthly series.

Why the Early Schedule Fits Watersound Town Center

The 6 p.m. start makes more sense once you look at what has opened around the Pavilion this year. The St. Joe Company's June 30, 2026 release announced several new stores: FP Movement, Hemline, Monkee's and Sunset Shoes & Lifestyles, with Johnnie-O expected later that summer. Jersey Mike's Subs, Lagree 30A and the home décor and gift shop Art-of-Fact(s) had opened too. The center's directory now marks Johnnie-O as open along with the rest.

As of that June release, the center had about 160,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, service and office space and was 98% leased. Plans call for about 400,000 square feet, and two more buildings were slated to break ground this year. The release also counted more than 1,700 completed homes, townhomes and apartment units across Watersound Origins, Watersound Camp Creek and Watersound Origins Crossings.

Put an apparel-heavy shopping center next to that many nearby homes, and an early evening with a covered roof and ceiling fans is the obvious fit. A 6-to-8 show lets you get to the Pavilion before the stores close and get children home on a school night. SoWal's Kids' Night Out listing pitches the evenings as a chance for parents to relax while the kids are entertained. Rebecca Waters, St. Joe's Director of Commercial Sales and Leasing, said in the release that the openings "bring new energy and consumer traffic" to the center.

After 10 p.m., the Evening Moves to Proper

30Avenue's later hours carry on past the end of the lawn concerts. The restaurant once called Idyll Hound Proper now goes by Proper, at 12805 US-98, Suite E101. Owner Dan Tinghitella told WJHG that the new name signals the place is about more than beer. He described the weekend format to the station this way:

"Basically, at night, Friday and Saturday nights - we just throw a big party."

That interview aired in April 2026, and the station sent viewers to Proper's website for its menu and After Dark events. Weekend programming changes with the seasons, so check that site for the current late-night lineup.

All told, the east end has three evening time slots. The Pavilion covers 6 to 8, the 30Avenue green covers 7 to 10, and Proper is where the night goes after that on Fridays and Saturdays.

Three Weeks on the Calendar

The week of October 19 has both lawns on consecutive nights. Monday has a 30Avenue concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday has Kids' Night Out at the Pavilion from 6 to 8 p.m. The Monday lineup is on 30Avenue's calendar. The Tuesday date has been set since September.

The weekend of November 6 opens with Webb Wilder at the Pavilion on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. For anything at 30Avenue that week, check its calendar closer to the date.

The weekend of December 4 has the longest Pavilion evening of the season. The Art Bazaar opens at 4 p.m., and Michelle Malone plays from 6 to 8. It is also the last First Friday before the 30A Songwriters Festival on January 15 to 18, the event these shows are previewing.

Holiday events are still open on both sides of the highway. Watersound Town Center's Winter Wonder page still describes last December's event, rescheduled to a Thursday, December 18, and uses a 2025 image. Treat it as a record of last year, not a 2026 date. For 30Avenue, the calendar is where a tree lighting or holiday market would appear first.
