Grayton Beach: the funky and artsy beach town on 30A where the motto is “Nice Dogs, Friendly People” is home to the beautiful 2,000-acre Grayton Beach State Park, the famous Red Bar restaurant, delicious coffee at Black Bear Bread Company, the prominent Western Lake, and so much more. Grayton Beach is a unique and historic beach village with one of the most popular beach accesses in 30A.

Grayton Beach is the only beach in 30A where some residents have an opportunity to drive onto the beach and park in the sand. Walton County holds a lottery for 150, one-year driving permits. These permits are available to residents only and residents can apply through Walton County.

Black Bear Bread Company: This Parisian-style cafe and bakery with three South-Walton locations is the newest eatery from Chef Phil McDonald and restaurateur Dave Rauschkolb in collaboration with Stumptown Coffee Roasters. Enjoy fresh food, delicious baked goods, and amazing coffee.

Nanbu Noodle Bar: Nanbu Noodle is a unique restaurant with a hip vibe. Enjoy Japanese cuisine with a southern flair! Created by famous local Chef, Nikhil Abuvala, this local favorite has vegan options, ramen, steamed buns, sake and more! Chef Nikhil also owns another local favorite, Roux 30A, just around the corner.

Grayton Seafood Company: Grayton Seafood Company is a neighborhood gathering spot and seafood restaurant on Scenic 30A. It is a favorite among tourists and locals. 

Borago: Borago is one of 30A's most popular Italian restaurants and its consistently voted one of 30A's hottest spots for Italian cuisine. Enjoy lasagna, pasta, grouper, and more.

Grace Pizza and Shakes: This Grayton Beach favorite has amazing pizza, salads, and unforgettable milkshakes. Order one with a sparkler for a special occasion!

The Red Bar: This iconic go-to spot for live music, with a diverse menu featuring pasta, panné chicken, grouper, stuffed eggplant, crab cakes (Fridays & Saturdays only), and the catch of the day, it's a must-visit. AJ's Grayton: This eclectic seafood place has three bars, weekend brunch, and live music.

Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill: This seafood restaurant is a local favorite. Sit outside on the covered porch and let your kids feed the turtles while you enjoy the most amazing shrimp, fish, oysters, and tacos.

Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse: A romantic bed and breakfast with a vintage, 1950s Old Florida feel. The property takes pride in being the sole hotel in the immediate 30A area offering three pet-friendly rooms and three condo flat-styled rooms equipped with full kitchens, private laundry, and a dryer.

EVENTS

Grayton Beach Kous Kouri 8 & 4-miler: This annual Grayton Beach Run features both 8-mile and 4-mile courses, taking place at the state park.

Rags to Riches Regatta: This annual Fourth of July event began in 1982 when sailors in Grayton Beach organized a competition on Independence Day. This small catamaran tradition continues today and is a favorite among South Walton locals.
